Welcome to the largest COMPETITVE BOYS AND GIRLS league in the province! The AthElite Youth Basketball League (AYBL) is divided into separate divisions based on skill set and age. The AYBL is the best league for young basketball players to further their skills and increase basketball IQ. An experienced NCCP trained coaching staff does all practices in accordance with Canada Basketball’s Long Term Athlete Development Model. All games include equal playing time, score keeping and a fun yet competitive environment. Players displaying great progress will be promoted to the upper divisions & invited to private tryouts/camps for AthElite Metro & Elite Club teams.

The WHITE and ORANGE divisions (grades 1-5) are for beginner to intermediate skilled players with focus on skill development and ball touches. Both divisions are played 4on4 with adjustable hoops to accommodate age appropriate learning. These divisions focus on basketball fundamentals and build the foundation of becoming a skilled basketball player.

The BLACK division (grades 4-7) is for advanced players with focus on skill development, team concepts, and basketball IQ. The BLACK division is played 5on5 with high school rules in effect.
